🇰🇷𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 🇰🇷

Used for:
– Counting people and things
– Counting hours of time
– Counting age

They are generally used along with unit nouns that express the appropriate unit when counting people or things. (명, 개, 마리, 번, 잔, 병, etc)

𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 (𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺)
1 하나 [ha-na]
2 둘 [dul]
3 셋 [set]
4 넷 [net]
5 다섯 [da-seot]
6 여섯 [yeo-seot]
7 일곱 [il-gop]
8 여덟 [yeo-deol]
9 아홉 [a-hop]
10 열 [yeol]

For example,
𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀:
사람 두 명 = 2 Person 🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♂️
펜 다섯 개 = 5 Pens 🖋️🖋️🖋️🖋️🖋️
맥주 한 잔 = 1 Cup of Beer 🍺
강아지 네 마리 = 4 Puppies 🐶🐶🐶🐶

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲:
세 시 = 3 o’clock 🕒
일곱 시 = 7 o’clock 🕖

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗲:
한 살 = 1 Year Old 👶🏻
열 살 = 10 Years Old 👦🏻

(Notice that in the examples above that “한, 두, 세, 네” are used because it is used as a counting unit, however when used a counting system, “하나, 둘, 셋, 넷” is used.)
