All the classes are operated according to the level of proficiency ranging from level one to level complete (basic, intermediate and advanced level).  If any of you have learnt Korean language at other school or elsewhere, you shall take placement test at our school (level assessment test), and students will be assigned to the appropriate class according to the results. It requires about 3 months to complete one level if you take once a week session(Part time Group Class).

The average number of students in a class is eight to twelve.

Period/Time/Contents

1st Period
Memorizing dialogues, Correcting Pronunciation,
Vocabulary Study

2nd Period
Grammar Study through different types of practice

3rd Period
Practice by using supplementary materials to improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Korean songs, Korean traditional games, Korean Play are also used according to levels

Basic Level 1 & 2
First time learners are taught the Korean alphabet system, pronunciation and basic conversational usages such as greetings, self-introduction and shopping. Level 1 grammar includes particles, verb usage, conjugations and proper use of the numbers.

Basic Level 3 & complete
Students will be able to form longer sentences as they learn more complicated particles, tenses, ending forms and joining clauses.l Students will be able to express personal experiences and plans on topics such as the seasons and traveling.

Intermediate Level 1 & 2
Students in level 1 & 2 of Intermediate Level are presumed to have the basic knowledge of Korean and will learn to express themselves in more complex and varied situation. Students will learn grammar such as passive verbs , causative verbs and indirect speeches to form longer and more complicated sentences.

Intermediate Level 3 (complete level)
Students will be able to discuss beyond every day life situations and learn to express opinions about various topics. The knowledge of the Korean culture and customs will be expanded. Imitation sounds, proverbs and informal speeches are also taught.

Advanced Level 1 & 2
As students reach higher levels, newspapers, radio broadcasts, television and movies are included in the curriculum. Students will be able to discuss specific topics and learn the nuance of grammar patterns and peculiar Korean expressions.

Advanced Level 3 (complete level)

Students will be able to answer queries about the Korean language on their own and comprehend articles on literature and specialized topics. They will also be able to improve their writing skills.
